Tracks:

Attendees can choose one track or attend a mixture of all three.

Well-being and Resilience in Education and Out-of-School Time

Focus: Enhancing mental health & resilience among students & educators both within educational institutions & out-of-school time.

  Topics:

  • Strategies for promoting mental well-being in schools.

  • Strategies for uncovering resilience and increasing trauma resistance in students and educators.

  • Teacher and staff mental health support.

  • Integration of mental health strategies into current curricula.

Well-being and Resilience in Systems of Care

(Justice, Human Trafficking, Foster Care, & Adoption)

Focus: Addressing the unique mental health and resilience challenges individuals face within trafficking, justice systems, foster care, and adoption processes.

  Topics:

  • Mental health support for youth and adults in the justice and foster care system.

  • Uncovering resilience and building trauma resistance among impacted children and families in the justice and foster care systems

  • Adoption and permanency planning with a focus on well-being.

  • Staff mental health and resilience support.

Well-being and Resilience in Mental Health and Counseling

Focus: Advancing mental health and counseling practices to enhance and uncover resilience and overall well-being.

Topics:

  • Innovative counseling approaches for mental health in youth and adults.

  • Building community mental health initiatives.

  • Uncovering resilience in therapy settings.

  • Systemic approaches to improve mental health outcomes.
